How to enter
Who can enter
Group A: student teams
- Exactly two members per team.
- Both enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate programme at a public or private university in Bangladesh.
- Any discipline. Teams from different departments or universities are welcome.
- Compete in either category: renewable energy or energy efficiency.
Group B: professionals
- Enter as an individual.
- Any professional or entrepreneur can enter.
- Submit ideas on renewable energy or energy efficiency; Group B is judged as one combined track.
What to submit
1. Concept note
A single page, as a PDF of up to 5 MB. Cover:
- The problem, and who has it
- Your idea and how it works
- Why it is feasible in Bangladesh today
- The business model: who pays, and why
- Expected impact, in numbers where you can
2. A pitch video of up to 3 minutes
- Explain the concept, its feasibility and the impact you expect.
- For student teams, both members should appear.
- Post it in google drive with #seideas and paste the link in the form.
- A phone camera is fine. Clear sound matters more than polish.
Likes and reactions on shortlisted videos decide the People's Choice award, so share yours widely.

Screening and shortlisting
The jury scores every entry. Shortlisted teams hear from us by email.
25–31 Oct
Finalist preparation
Finalists receive pitch deck guidelines and can join an idea clinic with sector experts.
1 Nov
Final pitch and awards
Finalists pitch live to the jury (in person or online). Winners are announced the same day. Date to be confirmed.
3–30 Nov
Winning ideas shared
Winning ideas and success stories are published across Power Division and GIZ channels.

Rules
Any AI generated submission shall be disqualified.
Each person can be part of only one entry.
Entries must be the original work of the team or individual. Any proof of plagiarism will disqualify the entry. Ideas that build on existing technology are welcome if your own contribution is clearly explained.
The concept note must be within 1,000 words, in English or Bangla, as a PDF of no more than 5 MB. The pitch video must be no longer than 3 minutes.
Entries received after the deadline will not be considered.
Shortlisted participants may be asked for identification.
By entering, you agree that the organisers may publish your idea title, summary, names and pitch video if your entry is shortlisted.
The jury's decisions are final.
